The Long Story
Space product development is (as you might know) a demanding area for hardware. As it is for software. ECSS was created to standardize space product development. The standards under ECSS superseeded the PSSs and now abound, i.e. they might confuse you; ECSS-M, ECSS-Q, ECSS-E, ...So here are two quick intros (roadmaps) to the ESA standards:
